We're hibernating for a bit...
Dear DragonBird Friends
It’s with great sadness that we write to inform you that all scheduled DragonBird sessions will be cancelled with immediate effect.
Our aim is to provide a safe, happy, interactive theatrical experience for our audience and we don’t believe we can do this in the current climate. This is in line with the government guidelines of ‘keeping social distancing and avoiding social venues.'
If you have bought tickets for the remaining shows of Charlie’s Wardrobe this month, or for April’s show Pyjama Island, we kindly ask that you keep them and know that they will be honoured and valid for a future show as soon as DragonBird is able to return from hibernation.
Please feel free to get in touch via email if you have any questions.
Of course we will be on our social media channels and…. who knows….maybe with live content to keep us all singing and playing!
We look forward to welcoming you all again once we re-open our doors.
With love and thanks for your continued support,
Lotte, Tilly, Dragon and Bird xxxx
Sunday 15th March 2020
Hello to all our lovely DragonBird friends.
As you know, we are all experiencing very uncertain times, so we feel it is important to share with you our current thoughts and measures around the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
We want to assure you that DragonBird’s priority is the health and happiness of our audience, actors and their families. We are keeping a keen eye on government guidelines and will be working within these as they are currently and as they inevitably change through the coming weeks. This means that for the time-being we will be continuing with our scheduled shows, with some measures in place to ensure a clean, relaxed space for our audience to enjoy.
We ask all audience members to wash their hands before and after each session.
If you have a cough or a cold, please don’t come and we’ll look forward to seeing you when you are feeling better.
DragonBird will wash, clean or rotate any props that are shared after every session.
Our red cushion seating will not be used for the time being (if you’d like to bring your own cushion please do).
Bird will have eaten properly and will not need feeding by our audience, but would love a little welcome wave
Dragon will be very excited and impatient about watching the show! He will not come round for cuddles but is hoping you’ll all be in good voice to sing our welcome song with him.
If you decide you would rather not attend our sessions for the time being we look forward to seeing you again soon. In line with our usual refund policy and other theatres across the country we don't refund tickets if you choose not to attend.
We will keep you updated with any developments and necessary cancellations via our social media channels (Instagram and Facebook).
After your health our priority is your happiness. The vision we will always hold is that theatre, fun and playing together is good for our personal and community mental health and happiness.
Dragon and Bird thank you for your love and support.
